I have an eight-book space opera series called the Crimson Deathbringer. The series is doing very well and I will be happy to share the details with you if we decide to move forward, but for now you can just check the Amazon page and get an estimate of the number of books sold based on the number of the reviews (keeping in mind that it is believed from every 100 people who read a book one leaves a review!). Or you can check my FB page where I constantly brag about my book sales. Also, keep in mind because it is a series, you will get paid for various box sets too.
While I obviously can't promise the translations will do well just because the English version is successful, it is worth mentioning my narrator, who is also on royalty share, has been consistently making money off of the audiobooks.
The series is also very well received. There must be over 1000 five-star reviews across Amazon stores by now.
Full disclosure, I'm extremely sensitive about the quality of my books. I will have the samples/auditions and the first few chapters read by native speakers and will cancel everything if they tell me the translations are anything less than stellar. And once the book is published, if I get reviews that say the translation is poor, I will stop promoting it, which means neither of us will make any money:(
