I grew up in Italy, but I've always been an enthusiastic traveller, interested in exploring new countries, languages and cultures. After taking my Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages I attended a post-graduate course about literary translation and I became perfectly aware of what my future job would have been. I started working as a freelance translator in 2004 and I translated over 30 books since then. I love literature and contemporary fiction, I'm a keen reader (and translator) of crime fiction, historical, fantasy and young adult novels.
