I have 22 years and currently live in Brazil. I study Aerospace Engineering at University of Brasilia, and I am on my 5th year. I had the opportunity to participate on an exchange program where I studied at the University of Virginia for one year. On the last 3 years I have participated on our local rocketry team, where develop rockets to participate on national and international competitions (Spaceport America Cup).
My mother put me on a private english school back when I was 8 years. And finished it several years ago, but I still have kept close contact with the english language. On the Aerospace Engineering course, most of our articles and books are written only in English. So I have been reading and writing reports and others texts in English for a long time.
Translating books is a new experience for me. I am very excited for what this opportunity will be able to bring. The money is nice to have, but being able to keep practicing a foreign language is what gives me high expectations on this adventure.
