The process of translating comprises in its essence the whole secret of human understanding of the world and of social communication.

Natalio francisco acerbo

My name is Natalio Francisco Acerbo. I am about to graduate as an English-Spanish/Spanish-English Translator at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in Argentina.

I have translated many documents of different kinds — from contracts, engineering projects or medical journals to short stories and web pages— from English to Spanish and vice versa. During the year 2013, I was the translator of the Observatory of International Economic Relations of the Law School of Universidad Nacional de La Plata. As a volunteer, I have translated papers for the United Nations Development Division, for an organization called Teach A Man To Fish, and also, as co-worker, for the United Nations Environment Programme. I have also worked in groups, both at University and as a freelance translator; I am therefore used to dividing long projects to shorten the time it takes to translate them, and then proofread the whole document to ensure consistency.

Furthermore, I have worked as a teacher of English Language and Literature at public schools and private institutes and I have been the assistant student of the Introductory Course for the English<>Spanish Translation course of studies at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in Argentina.

In additon, I am studying to obtain a BA degree in English and English Teaching.
