I recently obtained my certification in translation from the Global Translation Institute after completing a rigorous program that covered various translation techniques and skills that have enabled me to enhance my professional translation knowledge in both English and Spanish. I use both languages quite frequently in my everyday life, as a native Spanish speaker living in the United States, and I have assisted immigrants to communicate in both formal and informal settings and facilitated comprehension of multiple important documents with success. I am currently working on translating a fantasy book. Furthermore, I am an avid reader at heart and I read in both languages to hone my writing and reading abilities.
Being highly adaptable and quick to learn, I am certain I would meet all your objectives. It would bring me great pleasure to help expand your literary career!

Author review: Translator didn't finished on time, asked me to give her a much longer time, and I told her that for me finishing things on time it was important, and I was not okay with the extension she was asking. I asked her to cancel the translation since she didn´t finished in a timely manner. Never replied back to me. I didn't find fault with the first 10 pages that she translated, and I wouldn't have left a bad review if she would have just cancelled the translation. But with whom I am very angry at is this awful platform. It ONLY took Babelcube from 7/24/23 until 11/30/23 to cancel the translation for me. Apparently as an author you don't get to cancel a translation if the so called "contract" was broken by the other party. I am deleting my book and will never use babelcube again, their customer services is awful. They don't care about the author, nor the books they publish. I wrote them many emails and I waited patiently, because I wanted my book off this platform. They didn't even apologized! |
