Passionate about translation and literature

I am a freelance translator from English and French into Spanish (from Spain).
Besides, I am sworn translator of English certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

Since I was a child I was passionate about learning different languages and cultures. I used to spend my summers studying English in Bournemouth, United Kingdom, where I lived with a host family. All this, together with my passion about reading and literature, motivated me to study a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English, French and Russian), taking special interest in the subjects related to literature translation and legal translation. During my studies I spent a year at the University of Glasgow with the Erasmus program.

After finishing my degree in 2008, I started to work as a freelance translator. During all these years I have gained a solid experience translating different types of documents, including short stories and articles.

I have decided to login in Babelcube because, since I started to write a book, I have realized the troubles that authors have to face in order to publish and get their books translated.
