I am a native English speaker (United States) who is also bilingual in Spanish thanks to many years of studying the language and living abroad for the past four years in Spain. I studied Spanish philology at Cornell University and completed in a course in Professional English Translation (Centro Cálamo y Cran in Madrid). I am currently an in-house translator at a translation agency in Madrid, where I work with both technical and editorial documents. I love languages (now learning Portuguese) and I am an avid reader.  I am an organized and detail-oriented person, and produce translations that maintain the same style and transmit the same message as the original text.

Soy hablante nativa del inglés (Estados Unidos) y bilingue en español, gracias a muchos años de estudios del español y la residencia en España durante los últimos cuatro años. Además, estoy licenciada en Filología hispánica en Cornell University y he completado un curso de Traducción profesional inglés (en el centro Cálamo y Cran, Madrid). Y por último, soy traductora en una agencia en Madrid en la cual realizo traducciones de textos tanto técnicos como editoriales. Me encantan los idiomas (ahora aprendo portugués) y soy una ávida lectora. Soy una persona organizada y detallista y llevo a cabo traducciones que mantienen el mismo estilo y transmiten el mismo mensaje del texto original.
