I am a qualified translator from English-Spanish into French specialized in the promotion of arts and culture, social causes, and quality communication (websites included).
Coming from an international background and having traveled and lived in many countries, in particular in the Middle-East, North America and Europe, I have gained general knowledge essential to understand cultural and social challenges in diverse areas of the world. Besides, having lived many years in two different French areas, Quebec and Switzerland, I am fluent in two varieties other than international French.
As a translator, I’ve mainly worked with NGOS in communication and marketing fields, translating from English to French websites, annual reports, project proposals or press release. Therefore, I’ve built up knowledge in communication and marketing strategies, in corporate communication and in translation of web sites. I've also learned about human rights and international law issues as well as environmental ones.
My main goal is to specialize litterature. I've always wanted to translate books and eventually write one. I especially like history books and historical fiction novels. My interest for arts has actually led me to create a personal blog in order to write on artistic and alternative projects in Lebanon. The idea is to talk about all the unnoticed projects that have been taking place lately in the country and that try to convey changes in Lebanon. This blog requires organization and research capacities as well as communication, creative and writing skills.
I look forward to collaborating with you.
