Born and raised in Madrid, I attended bilingual school (English/Spanish) during childhood. A I grew up, so did my interest in nature, and I started studying Environmental Science. I attained a Master's degree in Conservation of Natural Resources and a Master's in Environmental Technology.
My love for travel and learning languages pushed me to leave Spain, and as soon as I graduated I moved to Norway, where I became a whale researcher and whale watching guide. During my career I have worked in the fields of tourism and hospitality, research, project management, non-profit management, education, conservation and translation.
After 10 years abroad and having family in three different countries, I decided to become a freelance translator. I am studying a Master's in Specialized Translation and I am a volunter translator for several organizations, including TED and Translators Without Borders.
I am a bookworm, a "readaholic" that wants to contribute to a better world by spreading knowledge and connecting people through translation.
