Graduated in Law and International Legal Sciences (Bachelor and Master's Degree) and with acquired professional experience in the Legal Area, Translation and Library, Information and Documentation Sciences and Technologies.
I have a great sense of ethics and responsibility and I'm known to be a diligent and rigorous professional. I have communication skills and a high learning ability, and I am very meticulous and creative when it comes to my work. I am also extremely self-disciplined and self-taught. I am a multilingual individual (currently speaking 3 languages on a daily basis).
For the past 10 years, I have mainly been focusing in gaining experience as a translator, transcriber and proofreader.
I love books and for that reason I even worked for 5 years in a library. I don't mind reading books in English, in fact it is a great exercise for me as a non-native, since it helps me to practice what I already know and also to continue learning (we never know everything). But I get frustrated whenever I discover a great book that I would like to recommend to my friends and family and I can't because it's not available in Portuguese. That is why I would like to give my contribution and help authors reach a wider audience.
