Having grown up reading as wide a variety of books as I possibly could, I possess curiosity, tenacity and a sense of adventure. Thus, I have undertaken extensive travel and work in a range of contexts: from studying politics and languages in the UK and abroad in France, and a jurisprudence-focused translation internship in China, to single-handedly running the translation, interpreting and communications department of a significant Tour Operator in Bulgaria. I have reached fluency in eight languages and proficiency in a further four, as well as taken part in a number of conferences from EFSLI to MUN: hence, I can confidently define myself as culturally literate and the perfect person to undertake translation projects of any kind. Translating books, in particular, is something I hold dear to my heart, as I love reading and feel that everyone should have access to as many books as possible, for it is in them that we see the true beauty of the human mind.
