Spanish is my mother tongue. I'm a mexican teacher and writer.

Marco ortiz

I love to write and  have some experience in the field. A few years ago I translated a book about the Mayans. It had over 400 pages and I took my time learning about the subject and also trying to keep the elegance of the original (it was written in english) in spanish. Since that I have translated many articles for my friends.

I'm very good  when it comes to translate from english into spanish. I can do it the other way but not as nicely as in the first case because my first language is of course,  spanish.

When I was young (now i'm 53) I used to work as a tour guide and I had the chance to speak with thousands of foreigners, mainly english speaking people, and I had the opportunity to practice almost everyday for more than twenty years, so, understanding the Shakespeare language is not a problem at all.

As a writer, I have published a book about racism in Mexico. The name of my book so you can google it is "El cristal racista de los mexicanos" and I also have my own blog with more than a hundred articles of my own. The link is: omarcortes2008.skyrock.com.

There I use my real name, but also some pseudonyms like Omar Cortés (it sounds pretty similar in spanish as my real name), and Omar Balderas because some times I criticize the government and I'm only protecting myself.

I love spanish, I love english, and I'm very good at writing, my spelling is superb and I look  forward to hear from you.

Thanks.

MARCO ANTONIO ORTIZ CRUZ.
