Marco nicoletti

My name is Marco Nicoletti, a 24-year-old boy from southern Italy.

I studied at I.I.S. G.B. Pentasuglia in Matera, one of the best and biggest school in my region, where I had the chance to get general knowledge both in scientific and humanistic sector.

I spent my first university year in Bari, Apulia, where I started studying Foreign Languages and Tourism. The languages I chose were English and Russian and most of the classes were translations oriented.

For my second and third year I decided to move to Pisa, were I continued university focusing mainly on Linguistics and Use of Language, but translations were part of my degree course as well. Here I graduated on May, 23rd, 2018 with 102/110.

I spent three months in Sweden, at an eco farm near the city of Orebro, in order to learn something about environmental sustainability, as well as trying to learn some Swedish.

In May 2019, I moved to Rome for my Master's in Hospitality Management and I started working as a receptionist too, in order to be economically independent.

In hotel I had the chance to practice so many languages and in August 2019 I decided that I needed to learn Portuguese too. In October of the same year, I applied for the Portuguese Language Exam (Celpe-BRAS) at the Brazilian Embassy in Rome, passing it in December.

At the moment I am looking for a stage in Hotel Management abroad, but I will never stop learning languages and traslating in my free time, for it is my passion.
