I am a professional Brazilian linguist, a freelance translator, subtitle producer and interpreter.
Although I speak 3 other languages (English, Spanish and Italian), my joy and passion are still better expressioned in Portuguese from Brazil, my mother language.
As translator, I like to “become invisible”: this sense comes on that moment when all language barriers are overcome – either written or spoken – and the message is delivered on the same level of register of the source language, as if it was orignally created in Portuguese. That is brilliant!
My passions and expertises are: Life Sciences and their industries, Human Science, especially those related to Human Rights, Arts & Culture, Travelling, History and Marketing. And books, on literary translation.
I must say that I love what I do.
