I was born in 1956 in Düsseldorf, Germany. My father was an editor and author and brought me up with the love for books and reading and also encouraged me to learn languages.
I made my diplomas as a foreign correspondent for the English and French language and worked for a while as a transtator before working in real estate for over 25 years.
As a young woman I travelled a lot, Canada, Africa, Seychelles and nearly every country of Europe.
Beginning of 1993, with my english husband and our 2 year old son, I moved to Portugal, where I am still living.
