My name is Irina, I'm Portuguese and I live in Portugal with my partner, 5 dogs and 3 cats. I am trained in Biology and my specialties are ecology, environment, agriculture and sustainability. I have worked as coordinator of different NGOs, have worked in communication for associations and companies, but my passion is writing. I would like to publish my own books some day. In the meantime, I have done some editing and translation works (e.g. I translated the Organic Farming website of the European Commission, from English to Portuguese). I am good with languages. I don't just translate literally, I am able to catch the subtleties of the texts and translate them correctly. I have the right balance between a scientific, analitical, objective mind, and a poetic, imaginative and artistic mind.
