I have a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and an English Teaching Degree (Universidade Católica de Brasília - DF, Brazil)
I took one course on “Translation, theory and practice of translation” at UCB-DF.
Personal Information
I was born in Brazil, in a city close to the capital. In my early years I had English classes that made me like knowing another culture. When I finished high school I had only one thought about college, I wanted to use English. Thanks to a governmental program I received a scholarship in a very good University, I choose to study literature and English language even though this course is not known for money profits I knew that I could use it to start a career in the translation field. Following a teacher's advice, I started getting to know peculiar aspects of both English and Portuguese languages and learn how to make the best translations to the public.
