Freelance Translator and Language Instructor

I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil. At a young age I moved to the United States and grew up in South Florida, outside of Miami. I maintained fluent Portuguese speaking with my family at home, and visited Brazil a few times a year. In South Florida, I also studied and spoke Spanish, as it is highly prevalent in Miami. I have two degrees; one in International Affairs (concentration: Philosophy) and one in English (concentration: Editing, Writing, and Media). I have been teaching English for the past few years (in Japan and Brazil) and am now working as a freelance translator (Portuguese and Spanish into English).
