I'm Haluma Bash Agha, a freelance translator, I'm currently doing freelance translation to a none profit organization and i have finished a book of 85 pages in 10 days from English to Arabic, I have an experience in providing edits to Arabic and English documents since very early of my career in Oil & Gas industry and this lead me to be a good translator. I'm working as a freelancer translator since 2013. I have graduated from Science Faculty, Zoology Department 1990/1991, after 3 years of uncompleted study in Medicine Faculty which helped me to know more vocabulary and medicine terms. Working in oil and gas international companies for about 13 years also added to me more experience in delivering more types of documents as recruiting campaign promotion materials, advertising, legal agreements. I was responsible for collecting & reviewing sharing agreements with NOC, company registration requirements and power of attorney documents etc. I assisted ACTED (none profit organization) in small grants programme as an assessor, by evaluating the applications of NGOs according to ACTED's guide. In addition to that I'm a member in Libyan women forum organization and familiar with CSO terms and worked for more than two years with IRI as an online translator and they were very happy with my work because of the accuracy of my work and always meeting deadline, extremely organized, self-motivated and resourceful with over 13 years of experience in providing HR & administration to executives in Oil and Gas industry, self-confident and hard worker with logical approach to challenges, performing effectively within a highly pressurized working environment. I started my career as a freelance translator since January 2013 based on CIL (Civil Initiative Libya (acted))’s request to assist them as assessor for small grant projects even though since my very early work experience I have done lots of translations & revising to contracts, Agreements, Handouts, Advertisements and letters from Arabic to English & English to Arabic successfully. my Qualification & Certifications: Professional Mini Master in Business Administration June – 2014 (certified by Oregon University). Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) 2001, HNC in Administration and IT- 2001 (James watt – Scotland). Bachelor in Zoology- 1990-1991 (Tripoli University).
