Gianfranco Mammi (author)

Scrivere non è il mio mestiere, è la mia passione.

Gianfranco mammi

Degree in Law. High School diploma in Humanities. I've published the following fiction books "on paper": Uomini senza Mercedes (Ravenna, Fernandel, 2002), A perdere si fa meno fatica (Laives, Travenbooks, 2005), I cani di Bucarest (Merano, AlphaBeta, 2010), Vita di Ridolini (Lucca, Trasciatti,2010), Brevi dal Nord (Verona, QuiEdit, 2011), La scellerata (Roma, Aracne, 2014).  I've published short stories on newspaper and magazines (Linus, L’accalappiacani, Tèchne, Panta), and on websites focused on contemporary Italian fiction. Lately I've published the following ebooks: Atti unici, Casellanti, Il gatto Grappino e il suo padrone, Tre piccole fiabe sgangherate, and the already mentioned Vita di Ridolini and Uomini senza Mercedes. I tend to an ironic style, close to the spoken language - but without peculiar jargons. Il gatto Grappino e il suo padrone is a photo album with captions that form a little story about my cat (57 pictures, only 606 words); Tre piccole fiabe sgangherate is a collection of three modern fairy tales, just a little ironic.
