I'm a languages teacher and journalist experienced and skilled. I'm using English and French in my profession. Translation is a part of my daily work.

I was born in December 14, 1961. I’m married and father of five children. In my secondary school I leant English and French languages in particular. In University of Burundi, I have been graduated in teaching French language in 1984. After, I worked as French teacher in secondary school during more than 10 years. After 1994, I left Burundi for Rwanda, my country.

From 1994 to 2001, I taught French and worked as deputy headmaster. From 2001 to 2020, I’m journalist-editor. I had opportunity for English language courses and many professional courses. One of courses I beneficiated was a news editing process. In addition, I learnt journalism during four years. The teaching language was English. This helped me to perform my English in speaking and writing.

During my journalism career, one of my daily assignment was translation from Kinyarwanda to French, English to Kinyarwanda and French. I translated not only news, but also documentaries. Now, I’m translating written documents. I have more than ten years of experience in editing news.

Today, I’m a good editor and good translator. I have skills and experience to translate from French to English and vice versa.
