Born in Bologna in 1973, I live in Rome with my daughter and wife.

After being an IT Specialist for IBM, I became a full-time writer since 2008. Over the last years, I've won all the major Italian Science Fiction Awards. Here's my literary achievements and awards:

2004 - Finalist at Urania Mondadori Award with Antidoti Umani
2009 - Winner of Urania Mondadori Award with e-Doll
2013 - Winner of Odyssey Award by Delos Books with Livido
2013 - Special Recommendation at Robot Award for Il Livello dell'Assassino
2014 - Winner of  Italy Award for best SF novel for Livido

2014 - Livid sold to publisher Xoum, out in summer 2014

2015 - Winner of Urania Mondadori Award 2014 for Bloodbusters

Some of my stories appeared on magazines such as International Speculative Fiction #5, Robot, iComics, The Chicago Quarterly Review #20.

In 2014 I've founded Future Fiction, a book series for Mincione Edizioni. A high-quality series dedicated to international speculative and sci-fi stories. Some of the stories have been brought on stage in Rome (The Milky Way: A show on diversity quite unlike itself).

Future Fiction scouts for English and non-English speculative fiction: so far we have published Michalis Manolios (Greece), Cristian M. Teodorescu (Romania), Robert J Sawyer (Canada) James Patrick Kelly (USA) Ian McDonald (Norther Irland), Clelia Farris (Italy), Efe Tobunko (Nigeria), David Marusek (USA - Alaska), Ken Liu (USA-China), Xia Jia (China), Tom Crosshill (Latvia), Olivier Paquet (France).

BABELCUBE is a wonderful tool to help us join forces and reach a wider range of readers.
