My name is Fernanda, I am a 25 years old woman deeply in love with translation and literature. It has been my passion growing up, and because of that I have chosen these areas to be my main profession.
Therefore, I am an English Language and Literature Studies graduate at State University of Maringá (UEM-Brazil). Besides, I have a Master's Degree in Literature Studies at the same university. My thesis focuses on translation, children's literature, and audio-description.
I have worked as an academic translator, movie and TV shows subtitling translator, and proofreader. Currently, I intend on expanding the area in which I work, since it is my main goal to become a full-time literature translator.
