My name is Eileen.
I come from the long, narrow, beautiful country of Chile. I was born in the South, but that has nothing to with this. I have always found wonder and marvel in the written word. I have always found beauty and God's creativity in culture and languages. Nobody in my family shares this passion and interest cause we are all so different. Funnily, I did not realize all my passion for languages and culture until my time to decide my college studies came.
Called "Miss Grammar 2004" by my friends and classmates in my English-Spanish translation programme, I came to understand that language was my thing and how easily grammar went through my mind any time both in English and Spanish.
During my 6 years of career I've had the chance to work as a translator, proofreader, subtitler, sales assistant, telemarketer, English and Spanish tutor, researcher, and so on...
I've also had the awesome opportunity to translate four Christian books into Spanish: Gente que sume (John Townsend); El secreto de la felicidad (Max Lucado); El evangelio según Satanás (Jared C. Wilson); #PlenamenteSoltero: Conviértete en la persona correcta antes de conocer a la persona correcta (Demien K. H. Nash).
I am also interested in books on practical tips related to life, family, relationships, work, everything that can help and teach people to overcome problems and reach solutions.
