My name is Diogo Prado, I am 26 years old and I am a freelance translator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I've started my carreer as a translator last year and decided to make it my main occupation this year. During that time I got some general translation jobs from private clients while I continued to specialize myself in the area. I am now getting my bachelor degree in English and Portuguese, but I already have one in Journalism.
The main areas I try to work at are translation for subtitles/voice acting and literary translation. I hope with Babelcube I can get my first job translating a book! Something I have always wanted to do since I am an avid book reader.
I am an easy going person and very professional. I'm looking forward to get more and more jobs to work on.
