Translator and writer myself. I love working with humor and irony.

I started writing fiction when I was as young as 10 years old. But, although I have always been writing and writing and striving to improve, I actually got a Bachelor Degree in Animation and Digital Arts, and I took some courses in Political Science. 

When I was about to finish my Bachelor Degree, I had almost no idea about what to do with my life, because the only thing I wanted to do was writing. At that time, I was studying an international semester in Canada and using my English and my French on an everyday basis. Someone made me notice how easy it was for me and how comfortable I looked when I was speaking foreign languages. That was when I started to think about a profession I didn't even knew it existed: Translation. 

Urged by the feeling of doing something profitable with my life, I began to study a Diploma in Translation and I started to do some voluntary translation in my spare time. Once I finished university, I enrolled in a Master Degree program in Translation and New Technologies and I am working hard to become an excellent translator.

You may think that I am not a "professional" translator because I didn't go through the four years of a Bachelor degree in Translation, but I am a professional writer so not only I have the ability to bring your book into a new language. I also have the passion and the deep understanding of what a book actually means to oneself. 

They say I am a master with rhythm, and I also excel at irony and humor and at writing in a simple, accessible manner. Last year I was one of the finalists to receive a Nacional Creative Writing Scholarship by the non-profit organization Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas and I have a couple of national third places in literary contests: one in Essay and one in Short story.
