Translator specialised in the literary field

I am a freelance translator, specialised in the literary field. I have already worked for several translator agencies and publishing houses, such as Ático de Libros, Edimat and Bubok. This way, I have dealt with works related to yoga and marketing, children's stories, romantic novels and thrillers, as well as texts about cosmetic products and tourism. In addition, I have interpreted for authors at La esfera de los libros.

I have completed two degrees, Modern Languages and Translation and English Studies, at the University of Alcalá (Madrid). I lived in Italy for three months when I was 16 in order to study, and I had the chance to live with an Italian family. I also lived in England for almost a year, as part of my Erasmus exchange with the University of Portsmouth.

I am specialised in translation from English and Italian into Spanish, but I also work with French. Writing and reading have always been my two greatest passions, hence why I started studying translation.

I consider myself an easy-going person, as well as a good communicator. I am constantly seeking new challenges and trying to stay positive when things do not turn out as expected. In regards to work, I am reliable, professional and persevering. In my spare time, I never say “no” when it comes to spend a nice afternoon with friends or family, my other two pillars in life.
