I was born in Portsmouth the very south of England, and grow up on one of the biggest council estates in the UK for many years, Leigh Park. Throughout my child hood I had many family holidays around the UK, at great expense to my parents. But they made sure I had the best time, wanting for nothing. My dad dived for many years as a commercial diver after leaving the military. So I was only natural I would follow in his footsteps.

After meeting my loving wife Dawn and starting a family with our first son Kyle, then Brandon and finally Lucy, I decide to join the British Army. My first job was in the Royal Military Police (RMP), which was interesting to say the least. But after 4 years I decided to transfer to the Royal Signals. I trained as an Information Systems Engineer (Computer Geek), and served in Germany, Iraq and Afghanistan on numerous occasions.

When it was time to retire, my wife and I decided to move to Malta for sun, sea and relaxation. What else would I do on this island voted the third best diving destination in the world, teach scuba diving? So I do, everyday I’m underwater showing people the wonders of these islands submerged beauties.

Because Malta has numerous wrecks, some artificial and some real from World War Two, these became my love and passion.
