When you suffer a shoulder injury it can cause some pain. But fortunately, there are several things you can do to alleviate your discomfort. Some of these include wearing a shoulder support, doing gentle exercises to strengthen your tendons and ligaments, and taking supplements for your shoulder.
Rotator cuff tears

Rotator cuff tears are one of the most common injuries in the shoulder. They can be caused by a sudden injury or wear and tear. If left untreated, rotator cuff tears can lead to more serious problems, including arthritis.

There are many ways to prevent these injuries, including avoiding slippery surfaces, wearing appropriate footwear, and taking part in regular stretching and strengthening exercises.

Sprains and strains can be very painful and should be treated as soon as possible. Rest is essential during the recovery process, and icing and compression can help reduce pain and swelling. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can also be used to relieve the pain. If the injury is severe, surgery may be required.

X-rays and ultrasounds can be used to diagnose sprains and strains. These tests can help the doctor determine the type of injury, as well as rule out fractures and joint dislocations.
