Being raised in Canada, both in English and French provinces, I have been bilingual from a young age. For as long as I have been able to read, I have been fascinated by the way authors are about to create worlds as well as the way words can create a whole imagery, even if there are no images to say so.
I have worked for engineering firms as an administrative assistant in French and English and I now work in the insurance domain where I write and translate reports.
Since books have always been a passion, I have been drawn to translating and proofreading them ever since I was able to read.
I have a work ethics that I qualify as superior to the norm. I like things to be well done and I do not hesitate to search for information or ask for some additional details when I am unsure about some words or the context. I really enjoy rendering something that is true to its original form and sense and I am easy to work with.
