Too passionate to have a single occupation, I've been active and worked in politics while pursuing a career in translation as a freelancer and studying for the last 19 years. I am currently working on a PhD in Translation Theories along with my translation work for First Nations. I have travelled quite a lot and lived abroad (Germany) for 6 years. I am fluent in French and English, have an intermediate level in German, and can manage in Spanish.
I need to be working on many things at once and am interested by various issues such as politics, local economy, food sovereignty, education, renewable energy and self-sufficiency. I am passionate about communication and therefore translation and the circulation of ideas.
I have translated three books that have been published:
