I have been an English teacher and translator for 7 years. I am also a proofreader, both in Portuguese and English, at a university publisher. I graduated in Language here in Brazil and I attended an especialization in Translation. I lived in Canada for one year to improve my English. I love the language and I love translating. I think translating is an opportunity to improve knowlegde about several subjects, and as curious as I am, it is the perfect job. In my opinion, in order to have a quality translation, it is necessary to research about the subject, so that it is possible to get as close as possible to the exact translation to each sentence. When I finish each translation I review it, because it is always possible to have better ideas when you read the text again and again. A good translation requires time and effort, also knowledge and love.
