I´m Swedish living in Spain. Have been reading all my life, and often find myself pausing to enjoy and savor a certain passage for it´s beauty or thinking "that was a peculiar sentence". Oftentimes, when reading a translated book, I wonder how the original was written and many times I see both spelling and grammar mistakes, which is something that annoys me immensely. I think a printing error here and there might (just might!!) be acceptable, but a published book should be flawless, to do the author and the story justice. My eyes are like targeting robots - they find the mistake on a page before I even start reading. I have quite a lot of experience in writing, proof reading and translating and a very high proficiency in Swedish spelling, grammar and syntax.
