I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Translation with a Specialization in Portuguese and English from the University of Santiago, Chile and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Linguistics at the University of Santiago, Chile. 

I work as a translator and interpreter in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Additionally, I have lived, studied, and worked in Portugal, Brazil, the US, and Iceland, which has allowed me to become fluent in my three working languages, build a successful career in the translation and language sector and a wide network of satisfied clients. 

I have over 6 years of experience in translation and over 500 hours of interpretation experience in many different fields, for both business and academia, including: marketing and advertising, corporate communications, HR, engineering, geology, mining, IT, machinery, legal, law, medicine, dentistry, nutrition, agronomy & enology, education, psychology, and sociology; as well as manuscripts, papers, articles, and abstracts.

I am a member of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI).

Translation experience also includes voluntary work (pro bono) for organizations such as United Nations Volunteers, Global Voices, AFS Intercultural Programs, and BabelCube.
