Translations bring worlds together.

As an avid reader of books and stories in both English and Portuguese, it was only a matter of time before moving my interest towards the next stop: helping others who aren't familiar with both languages to have access to more stories.

I have learned to appreciate the value of a good translation, which should go beyond simply carrying the words to another language, but more importantly, translate the emotion of the narrative and the meaning behind the expressions, to find equivalents. It's often an overlooked role, but it's one of the most important ones to bring worlds together.

Translations are what allow thoughts, stories and ideas to reach people which they wouldn't otherwise, and precisely because of that, translations are the basis of important cultural exchanges. I am looking forward to translate your stories.

Sendo uma ávida leitora de livros e histórias tanto em Inglês quanto em Português, seria mera questão de tempo antes de meus interesses abrangerem a próxima parada: ajudar aqueles que não têm familiaridade com ambas as linguas a alcançarem mais histórias.

Aprendi a apreciar o valor de uma boa tradução, aquela que deve ir além de simplesmente carregar as palavras para a outra língua, mas principalmente, traduzir a emoção da narrativa e os significados por trás das expressões, achar equivalências. Costuma ser um papel facilmente ignorado, mas é um dos mais importantes para unir mundos.

Traduções são o que permite que pensamentos, histórias e ideias alcancem pessoas que não poderiam tocar de outra forma, e precisamente por isso, traduções são a base para importantes trocas culturais. Mal posso esperar para traduzir as suas histórias.
