3 cups fresh lemon juice, passed through a sieve
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
Place a saucepan over medium heat. Add water and sugar and cook until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and cool for a while. Add lemon juice and salt.
Mix, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Pour the lemonade mix into an ice cream churner and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to freeze for 15-20 minutes.
When churned, pour into a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer and freeze until firm.
Scoop out using a scooper dipped in warm water and serve in bowls immediately.

1 1/2 pounds strawberries / raspberries / blueberries / blackberries
Juice of a lemon
1/3 cup maple syrup
Blend together berries and lemon juice until smooth.
Pass the blended berries through a fine sieve. Discard the solids and seeds.
Add maple syrup to the blended berries. Mix well, cover and chill for 30 minutes.
