THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SINFUL NATURE is about its origin as the body of flesh, made out of the dust of the ground, and given to mankind, from God, as way for the soul to engage, interact, and experience HIS good, created world. The body of flesh enables the soul to experience natural life through the five senses (sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch). The five senses provided a way for the soul to learn about the world and send that information to the brain (heart) to inform thoughts and direct behavior. The soul, through the body of flesh and its five senses could make decisions and choices based on what was learned from the world. The body of flesh was created to be a vessel and servant for the soul and spirit. The body of flesh, along with the soul and spirit became a living soul. The body of flesh along with the soul, but without the spirit is a dead soul and becomes a sinful nature. The sinful nature is the body of flesh without the indwelling Holy Spirit and all it has is a propensity for sin.
