Sample text:

One day Queen Floratop went out into her garden to prune and water her beautiful flowering plants, and realized that compared to the year before, there were hardly any new plants growing in her garden.  At first, she wondered if some of the young shoots had died off because they just were not strong enough.  But she counted all her plants and realized that there were much fewer new plants this year than there had been the previous year.

If there were fewer plants this year it means that there were fewer seeds last year.  Seeds came from pollination.  Pollination came from all sorts of animals and insects, but mostly from honeybees.  Queen Floratop listened very carefully.  She could hear the birds tweeting, the crickets chirping, and the frogs croaking.  But she could not hear the bees buzzing.

The bees were gone.  Floratop looked all around her garden but could not find any bees anywhere.  She ordered her kingdom searched high and low, but there were no bees to be found.  Everyone wondered where they could have gone to.  Why would they go away?  The bees needed flowers to make honey just like flowers needed bees to make seeds.

So, Queen Floratop set out on a quest to find the missing bees.
