The people's justice (book one of a trilogy)

An ongoing story of a killer intended to continue his quest to rid the world of the people considered undesirable as they have committed sins that should not be forgiven; his target is convicted paedophiles! In our killer's view, a few years in prison, often an open jail in what some may consider luxurious living, is not a severe enough punishment. He plans the kills precisely so that the law will have no lead, and little idea of stopping his killing is paramount. The case is doubly frustrating to the police as ordinary people hail the killer as the People's Judge. There seems to be no end of candidates that require "The People's Justice".

Sit down, he said, and we smiled at each other. What brings you to Pembroke? he asked me, and I said: "It is a long story, so could I use your bathroom before I start?"

"No problem", he replied, "It's the door to the left of the front door."

Getting up, I took hold of a firm pillow from my chair and, in two steps, was next to him as he looked up at me, obviously puzzled by my action. The gun was at his temple, the pillow over it, and two quick shots were done before he could object or ask why to take a cushion to the bathroom.

Feeling no remorse, he will no longer be able to desecrate a child's life again. There was no need to check his pulse, so now I sat down to drink my cup of tea and observe him. He was dead; of this, there was no doubt. The gunshot noise had significantly been reduced by the pillow.
