Sample text:

Keagan saw the mermaid coming straight for him and braced himself for impact. When she launched herself into his arms, he was ready for her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and clung tightly to him. Keagan could feel her body trembling against his as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. He turned to look at his father.

Sebastien handed Raylia to Aminay and approached Keagan and the mermaid. It was obvious she was terrified of something and wanted to approach her gently. “Miss, are you alright?” Sebastien asked.

Seah pulled back slightly from the Hunter she clung to, “Please! Will you help me?”

“We will if we can,” Sebastien confirmed. “What’s your name?”

Refusing to release the Hunter in her arms she said, “I am Princess Seah, daughter of King Caspian and heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Featon.”

All of the Hunter’s, with the exception of Keagan, bowed slightly in respect of her station; “What or who were you running from?” Keagan asked.

Seah turned her liquid silver colored eyes back to the man she clung to and said, “Tiger-mers. They were sent by King Tahoe to capture me.”
