Sample text:

Sariah caught sight of the two Hunters standing just outside the gates and made it a point to push herself harder. She was even more grateful when one of the Hunters began running towards her. Then the gate slammed closed trapping her inside the walls of the castle. Sariah cried out her rage as she threw herself at the gates only to bounce off as if she weighed nothing more than a feather.

Markus shook the gates forcefully. He tried to transport himself across to the other side but the castle grounds were so heavily warded that Markus did nothing more than bounce off the force field like a ball.

He looked up when Sariah’s hand wrapped around his. For an instant he was caught in the vibrant sparkle of her emerald colored eyes. Her beauty was more than he could have expected.

Sariah stared into the striking gold eyes of the Hunter whose hand she now held. If the circumstances were different she might have found herself wanting to get to know him but at the moment she just wanted him to get her out. “Please…” she begged, “help me.”

Markus stuck his arm through the gate and wrapped his hand around her neck and pulled her face to the gate, “I will get you out of there even if it is the last thing I do.”
