The creation project

Like a therapist, I invite God to sit on the couch in front of me. I flip open my notepad, pen in hand. Now tell me, in your own words, what happened that night. It was a friendship, wasn't it? I hate to open old wounds, but invite me in to all those years ago, before the world was created and all you had were angels who lived in Heaven, and one angel who captured your heart. Describe that moment when everything changed. When was it when Lucifer turned into Satan? And why? Wasn't Heaven good enough? And what did you do when Heaven faced its biggest challenge? Did you trust the wrong source? Were you merely too vulnerable? Maybe if you could turn back time, you wouldn’t have given your angels a choice to rebel. Of course, true love has its risks, one that broke your heart for the very first time.

Sample text:

When I was asked to write the Forward to Sunshine’s latest book, The Creation Project, I was so honored. First, because I have known her for at least a decade, and I know the quality of person that she continues to be. Second, because I know the depth of commitment that she has for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Last, I know the amount of heart that she pours into every composition. Though I was honored, I still could not put my name on a book that I had not read - especially one that touched upon theological issues. As I read her book I found myself at odds with several deeply important theological concepts that were at that time between its pages. I knew I needed to have a conversation with Sunshine to see what was on her heart about what she wrote. I found her as brilliant as usual and highly sensitive to the things of God. It blessed the teacher side of my temperament to find her so teachable. As I voiced my concerns she took copious notes and asked poignant questions concerning the person of God and His attributes.
