Incidentally, suicide rate tripled since 1940’s.and many young people survive in suicide attempt than die with it. several factors may put an young boy/girl at risk. having risk factor does not mean they attempt a suicide.and a risk factor can be family history, mental health problem, incarceration, access to lethal weapons, drug abuse. boys are more likely to die than girls. In the reported age group of 10-24 where incidence of suicide is high(US) , 81% deaths are for boys and only 19% for girls.Feeling purposeless, anxiety , trapped and hopeless, unusual anger, withdrawal from company are all contributing for suicide death among youth in all cultures and communities.
