Steve rolled onto his side and gradually sat up on the edge of his couch. His body ached from the constant pounding it took on his job. However, he knew it was essential if he wanted to truly enjoy days off like this one. The television quietly ran a home-improvement program that Steve had managed to tune out as he slept. He squinted his eyes at the screen, but didn’t have any real interest in it.
The loud bang came again, followed by heavy footsteps coming up the stairwell outside his apartment. Steve grabbed his tank top and pulled it over his chest as he made his way to the front door. He peered through his peephole and saw a thick gorgeous blonde squatted down and holding something just out of sight. She grunted and struggled to maintain her footing.
