Sample text:

As youth we often doubted the marvels of the world until we witnessed something first-hand. I recall one summer on my grandparents farm in rural Missouri when my cousins and I were inspecting our latest weapon of choice–a new wrist rocket slingshot equipped with powerful rubber tubing and a handle that housed round steel projectiles.

What a beautiful weapon it was to behold with its modern armament in comparison to our previous wooden model that was rarely accurate. We passed it among the three of us speculating nothing short of a howitzer cannon could be its equal. Griping the handle conjured up visions of taking big game like bears and lions or standing your ground against hordes of advancing enemy Infantrymen.

As we moved near the dirt trail leading toward the barn to field test our slingshot, we saw our quarry looming ahead. Although it was an old piece of sheet metal roofing propped upright at about 30 yards it could just as we’ll have been a bull elephant on the Serengeti.
