We should recite the Quran on a regular basis and try to ensure that not a day goes by without looking at least once at the pages of the Quran.

Ibn Umar narrated that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The example of the person who knows the Quran by heart is like the owner of tied camels. If he keeps them tied, he will control them, but if he releases them, they will run away." (Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari, The Book of the Virtues of the Quran, Hadith 5031)

Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Keep on reciting the Quran, for by Him in Whose Hand my life is, the Quran runs away (is forgotten) faster than camels that are released from their tying ropes." (Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari, The Book of the Virtues of the Quran, Hadith 5033)
