Pushups, my friend ARE LITERALLY THE BEST overall body exercise that I can think of, period, and as you’ll see, there are literally dozens of different types of pushups you can do, so when I say “pushups” are the best exercise, it means pushups are the best overall exercise you can for your health, strength, fitness, and inner vitality. I’ve said this before, of course, but it’s so important it bears repeating.

To put this another way it matters not if you have huge bulky muscles for “show” but feel like crap on the inside.

To put it yet another way, It matters not if you can pound out 100 pushups at one shot, or bench 500 pounds, but have a liver that’s shot to high hell and beyond from years of abuse (and believe me, I speak from experience here).

When it “coils up”, i.e. at the bottom of the movement, for example, the “down” portion of a Hindu squat, you breathe out. When you “explode up”, you breathe in, and you do so DEEPLY.
