Place blueberries, water, sugar and vanilla in to the slow cooker and stir.
Cover and set the cooker on High for 2 hours.
Meanwhile make the dumplings as follows: Mix all the ingredients of the dumpling except almond milk and mix to get a crumbly texture.
Add milk and mix to get soft dough.
After 2 hours, place spoonfuls of dumplings mixture over the blueberry mixture.
Cover and cook again on High for 30 minutes.
Grease the slow cooker with coconut oil or butter.
Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker and mix well.
Cover and set the cooker on Low for 6-8 hours. Ideally a crust should form on top and the edges should be slightly brown.
Can be served warm or cold.
