My Story by Elizabeth Beckett

The Life of Yeshua

The alternative, mystical life story of Jesus the Christ, Yeshua, narrated by himself.

My story

My Story: the life of Yeshua is a story of the life of Jesus the Christ from his birth in the Holy Land to his escape to Britain after the crucifixion. The book gives an alternative account of this infamous man as a mystic and key member of a divine holy order of celestial beings sent to set the world to rights. My Story is narrated by Yeshua himself and the reader is brought close to him as his internal divinity battles ego and then turns outward to the world around him. As Yeshua strives for truth and illumination for his land and people he hurtles toward the final and greatest battle of an exalted life—that with himself, and with his inner God.

Sales info:

My Story: the Life of Yeshua is a controversial book that either receives very high ratings or very low ratings. Naturally this is because it recounts the life of Jesus the Christ from a mystical perspective and is not always appreciated by people who have strong religious outlooks. I believe that once this book finds the right audience it will do very well and be highly appreciated.

I currently have a Portuguese and a Spanish translator that I am working with and I am not accepting further offers for translations into these languages at this time because I need to give my current translators first option.

Sample text:

According to your modern calendars, I was born on the twenty-second of April in the first year of the Common Era: 1 c.e. I was born just moments after the sun began its transit through the constellation of Taurus. I preferred not to be an Aries. The planetary positions when I took my first breath reflected that I was destined to be a great orator, teacher, and messenger—although unusual, disruptive, and sometimes overzealous in my messages of universal truth. The theme of service also ran strongly through my astrological birth chart; as the planet of love, Venus, changed her direction the day before, and began a new forward cycle through the zodiac, my primary message to the world was to be one of love.

But since this brilliant planet was also conjoining with Uranus—the rebel—and making a difficult aspect to the ascendant, my approach would never be simple. I was going to have a big impact on the world, but my ability to create was equal to my ability to destroy and self-destruct. My ego would run unchallenged. My eccentricity was unavoidable. The only solution to my life would be through absolute surrender to the universal order of things and a commitment to divine service, the work of my soul. When I was pegged to a crucifix not long before my thirtieth birthday, with blood dripping down my arms (mercifully they did not peg my feet), Saturn had returned after a full cycle to roughly the position it was at upon my birth. It was only then that I gave in, that I surrendered to it all, that I surrendered to myself and the inevitability of the evolution of soul consciousness. It was a long, hard journey with bitter lessons, but I did learn them.
