To be intentionally aware means an individual is specifically paying attention to a pre-determined activity. The intentionality in the individual’s behaviors creates greater awareness of the action, the follow through, and the feelings resulting from the behavior.

 

Mindfulness is important for several vital reasons, which will be further discussed throughout this book.
